Tibetan Prayer Flags,Horizontal - sets of 25
These Prayer Flags have the windhorse and its
blessings printed on them, and are used throughout
Asia to let the winds send blessings up into the
atmosphere. As the flags decay, the blessings fall to
the Earth. Each flag is block-printed by hand by
monks as it has been done for centuries.

Vertical 5-Element Wind Horse Prayer Flags
These Wind Horse Prayer Flags are made in one long
strip of five flags stitched together, each flag
representing an essential element color. Each flag is
block-printed by hand. Wind Horse carries blessings of
the Buddha's teachings, auspicious circumstances are
created and obstacles of all kinds are diverted. In
feng shui, the fluttering of the flags and the colors
uplift a depressed area, and balance it. hang the flags
vertically, on a pole, tree the side of a house or
anywhere they can be secured and exposed to the wind.
The rope is included. These are usually hung from flag
poles, and, incidentally, will raise the chi wherever
they are installed. They will also strengthen one's
health chi if placed correctly. Check with your feng
shui consultant. 7 foot in length.

A riderless horse speeds tirelessly across the heavens,
carrying an auspicious faceted jewel that radiates
peace and harmony. The snapping of Prayer Flags in the
wind evokes the sound of hooves of the Windhorse
(Lung-Tha) galloping in the sky, riding the breezes and
carrying prayers to the universe to benefit all
sentient beings. Our Prayer Flags are printed from hand
carved woodblocks in the traditional manner. Enjoy the
slow fading of color as they hang in the elements. To
dispose of old flags with respect, please burn them.
Little Prayer Flag Garlands (horizontal)
What a great idea! A garland of 25 beautiful little
prayer flags - 25 of them - to put anywhere you want!
I have seen them used over the shrine, over a
doorway, to decorate a tree - there are so many uses
for these strings of wonderful little flags! Each
flag is about 4" x 4", and there are 25 flags strung
together with a gold ribbon. There is a choice of two
kinds of handmade paper flags with either the Om Mani
with the color of each syllable on the flag, or the 8
auspicious Luck signs and their accompanying colors.
And the cloth ones, with Lucky Signs on them.

This typical hanging is designed to be placed over an

of the 3 prayer flags is that of the Wind Horse
surrounded by prayers and mantras. Flags along the
bottom represent the Five Elements. Fits the average
doorway. An excellent Feng Shui solution to use for
an "empty doorway".

An Explanation of the EIGHT AUSPICIOUS SYMBOLS by
Geshe Kelsang Gyatso: The UMBRELLA symbolizes the
umbrella of the Buddhist Community and teaches us that
first we should enter the Buddhist family. The GOLDEN
FISH symbolize harmony indicating that under this
umbrella we should always live in harmony and peace.
The VASE symbolizes wealth and teaches us that we
should enjoy the inner wealth of our faith, moral
discipline, our study and practice of Dharma,
benefiting others, sense of shame, consideration for
others, and wisdom. The LOTUS symbolizes purity which
indicates that we should always strive to become a
pure being by practicing the Bodhisattva's way of
life. The CONCH SHELL symbolizes the Dharma Jewel and
teaches us that we should accomplish the Dharma Jewel,
the realizations of the stages of path, within our
mind. The KNOT OF ETERNITY symbolizes an uncommon
quality of Buddha's realizations, namely his
realization of omniscient wisdom. The VICTORY BANNER
symbolizes an uncommon quality of Buddha's
abandonment, his abandonment of the delusions and
mistaken appearance. These last two signs together
indicate that through gaining the Dharma Jewel, the
realizations of the stages of the path to
enlightenment, we shall attain two uncommon qualities
of Buddha. The DHARMA WHEEL indicates that, having
attained these two uncommon qualities of Buddha, we
are able to lead all living beings to permanent
liberation from suffering, principally by turning the
wheel of Dharma, that is by giving Dharma teachings.
This is our final goal.
