Most prayer flags are meant to deteriorate over a period of time. It is through this process that both the earth and the wind are recipients of the prayers.

These Prayer Flags have the windhorse and its blessings printed on them, and are used throughout Asia to let the winds send blessings up into the atmosphere. As the flags decay, the blessings fall to the Earth. Each flag is block-printed by hand by monks as it has been done for centuries. Item #FL-TPF.

They are strung in multiples of five flags, in the element colors red (fire), white (space or metal), yellow (earth), green (air or wood) and blue (water), with prayers stamped on each.

Vertical 5-Element Wind Horse Prayer Flags
These Wind Horse Prayer Flags are made in one long strip of five flags stitched together, each flag representing an essential element color. Each flag is block-printed by hand. Wind Horse carries blessings of the Buddha's teachings, auspicious circumstances are created and obstacles of all kinds are diverted. In feng shui, the fluttering of the flags and the colors uplift a depressed area, and balance it. hang the flags vertically, on a pole, tree the side of a house or anywhere they can be secured and exposed to the wind. The rope is included. These are usually hung from flag poles, and, incidentally, will raise the chi wherever they are installed. They will also strengthen one's health chi if placed correctly. We try to process orders within 1-3 working days. Sometimes we are waiting on a shipment to come in, and if what you want is in that shipment, it may cause a delay of up to a week or more in sending. We ship with ground service with UPS, FEDEX, and USPS. If you need your order as soon as possible, ask for overnight service - it costs more, but at least you will get it fast.
