A Beautiful shiny-new singing bowl with a 3" diameter. Set includes Bowl, striker, a little pillow for the bowl to sit upon, all in a lovely 4.5" satin box with 'OM' in burgundy on the top. This is a very beautiful set, and can be used for rituals, space clearing, calling meetings to order, as well as sheer delight in the amazing sound that this small bowl brings forth. It comes with instructions, but it does not say that the bell can be used like the traditional bowls, by slowly and evenly moving the wooden striker around the outer rim of the bowl, so that a marvelous many-toned sound will come forth. In order for this to work well, I have found that the bowl has to sit on the palm of the hand, not on it's pillow.
