The Laughing Buddha is a well-known figure, found in homes and businesses throughout Asia - and all over the world for that matter. Not only is his image wonderful to look at - one cannot help but to smile at his happy countenance, but he brings wealth luck and prosperity to those who establish him in their homes, offices and places of business. Put this Buddha in a public area so that many people can benefit from his presence. His back is resting against the shape that is known as 'fire', which strengthens and raises his chi even more. About 4" tall, including his wood pedestal(wood pedestal styles may vary). Each one is a little different from the other because they are each hand-carved from soapstone.
