Singing Bowl Set with BookThese singing bowls are around 75 years old and very special. The singing bowls are used to develop focus and attention in our practice and in our daily lives. Don't be fooled by replicas - our antique singing bowls are hand made, hand-selected and are made only by Tibetan artisans through special ancient techniques handed down from generation to generation. The bowls are made of 7 metals, one for each planet: Gold for the sun, silver for the moon, mercury for Mercury, Iron for Mars, Tin for Jupiter and Lead for Saturn. The harmonies of all the metals produce subtle distinctions creating a sensation of great space and profound peace. Each bowl comes with its own pillow made of woven Tibetan cloth to rest it on when not in use, though it needs to be held to be played. The kit also includes the wooden wand to make the bowl sing, and a book of instruction about this ancient technique for developing attentiveness. We test all the bowls for sound. It is hard to get bowls that are the same exact size, because they are handmade for SOUND, not for size, so sometimes a smaller bowl may be sent to you, but rest assured that the sound is fabulous. 4" diameter for the small, 6" for the large, and 12" diameter for the Huge. Tibetan Magical Bronze BowlVery unusual. Each bowl is hand-cast from bronze, with a green patina with either finely etched dragons in the bottom of the large bowl, or a fish pattern in the smaller one. Known as Lung Ding, it is said that this basin is the source of all myths about the Feng Shui fountains. The basin with it's classic beauty first appears in China's Han Dynasty. The bowls are tuned similarly to singing bowls. If you pour clean water into the basin and rub the brass 'ears'- the handles with your hands, sweet tones will be heard from the basin itself and four fountains of water will leap from the surface of the water. These bowls are tuned similarly to singing bowls, and were originally used for meditation. If you haven't seen these before, it's because they are relatively rare in the United States. This is a very handsome item that of course can be used for many purposes. The bowls are authentic reproductions of a meditation water bowl that dates to the 4th century B.C. Item #GI-LBOWL. Picture.

Water Bell FountainThese are beautiful fountains; three styles; two are made of metal (copper or Green powder-coated steel) and being metal it enhances the water element with it's upward energetic thrust. This fountain also has the additional chi-activating element of sound - the sound of tinkling brass bells as the falling, swirling water causes the 10 floating brass bells to gently bump into each other, creating a peaceful chiming sound. Very beautiful, with good strong 'elements', 'movement' and 'sound' chi - great for activation in the area that you need strength and energy. The metal bowls are 16" in diameter, and 6.5" high. Can be used inside or outside. Continuous-duty pump... The third fountain is the molded-styrene version which is slightly different - it is 14.5 inches wide and 5.5" high, and has two floating bells that gently swirl around six fixed bells, ringing softly when they meet.
