The Feng Shui Bagua is one of the best known feng shui utensils used to define the energy of a space. Eight areas is the translation of bagua in Chinese. Using the feng shui bagua as a compass, the eight areas are: North, Northeast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West, and Northwest.
Feng Shui Mirrors: These bagua mirrors are the classic ones that has been used to ward off danger and protect homes and places of business for many many years. These mirrors are considered to be very powerful and is never to be used indoors. Each of the eight sides has a trigram, a series of three broken and/or unbroken lines that represent certain aspects of the I Ching, a 5,000 year old book created by Fu Hsi, that represents the process of creation and dissolution . Each trigram has great depth of meaning.

The center of the Bagua is the tai chi position, and contains the mirror. All together it creates an extremely powerful energetic. It is hung above a doorway to give protection from dangerous situations such as secret arrows, bad neighbors and those with evil intentions.
