This is a real find at a great price, brought to me by a dear Tibetan friend. Strikingly elegant, both the necklace and the bracelet feel so wonderful to wear, that even I was amazed. The manner in which it is made is, in itself, time-out-of-mind ancient. The design is that of The Endless Knot, or "mystic dragon," which is a symbol of eternity and unity. Extremely well-made of nickle silver, which has less pure silver in it, but is sturdier than sterling. The necklace measures about 15" around, and settles comfortably at the base of the throat. Cuff bracelet.
'The intertwining design is a closed cycle of cause and effect, giving a form of great simplicity and fully balanced harmony. Giving a gift of The Endless Knot is understood to establish an auspicious connection between the giver and receiver. At the same time, the receiver is goaded towards righteous karma, being reminded that future positive effects have their roots in the causes of the present. This is because the knot represents a connection, a link with our fates, binding us to our karmic destiny.' Wow!
