Feng Shui Animals

Feng Shui is a philosophical and spiritual system that brings together human beings and the forces of the universe to live in a harmonized structure. There are many protective symbols used as part of Feng Shiu to protect you, your family, your home and your business from the negative and evil forces. Those symbols are represented by various objects and often by animals. Here is a list of some of the most common Feng Shui animals and the protection they provide.


Chi Lin: this mystical character also known as a dragon horse brings protective energy and provides you with good health and wealth. It is also used to protect your home from evil spirits.


Bats: they are a very important Feng Shui symbol to promote wealth, prosperity and good fortunes. It can also represent happiness and longevity.


Butterflies: they are a considered one of the Feng Shui symbols that are most relevant to love and romance and are a good cure for single people looking to get married.


Horses: these are one of the best Feng Shui symbols to bring around fame, success as well as speedy and lively energy. They are primarily used as a symbol for fame and career success depending on the region. They are placed in homes in the form of an image or a sculpture of one or multiple horses. In some cases, horses are used to promote love; to ensure that they should be placed in twos.


Fish: different kinds of fish such as dragon fish, arrowana and even gold fish are used to attract wealth and financial wellbeing. They are usually placed in an aquarium in a total of eight or nine with one of the fish being black colored.


Fu Dogs: otherwise known as imperial lions, they are a very powerful Feng Shui symbol. They are placed outdoors around government offices, temples and wealthy homes. They are often displayed as a couple with the male Fu dog holding a globe and the female holding a cub under their paws and they provide strong protective powers.


Dragons: it is a very important Feng Shui symbol. It promotes a strong yang and strong male energy. They can be used with a pearl or crystal to promote wealth and increased opportunities.


Birds: Different birds have different meanings and will protect you in different ways but the common theme is freedom and being a messenger from heaven.
